Many couples are opting to create their own rules and stepping away from tradition, and I’m here for it all!
Being a wedding planner I love to see couples create their own rules. Every love story is different and I feel every wedding should be as well.
These are some of the newest and Hottest Wedding Trends of 2022!
FIRST LOOK BEFORE SAYING I DO!
More and more couples are no longer waiting for the walk down the aisle before they see each other as tradition has always suggested that we do.
Now more and more couples are choosing to share that first glance intimately just between the two of them and it be captured by some pretty amazing photographers and videographers to remember the moment.
If you fear doing this will ruin the excitement of walking down the aisle or ruin the chance for your husband to be to shedding those tears… Trust me it will not, often times the first glance will provide the same experience if not better!
Brides are also opting to share their first look with their Bridal Party and First look with their fathers! I think it’s an amazing unique way to step away from tradition and create your own memories for your special day!

Flower Men
Yes you read that correctly! Flower Men is now a thing and once again, I am completely here for it!
People have choosen to get rid of their beloved cute flower girls in exchange for a hilarious fully grown flower man!
If you don’t believe me… Just take a look for yourself!
Quality over Quantity

Since 2020 and the world’s pandemic; more and more weddings have fewer head counts, but over the top glam when it comes to their wedding itself and/or opting to celebrate with only close family and friends by having micro wedding that usually have about 25-50 people. The big upside to this is the financial saving many couples have had, while still getting those beautiful memories to go with it, which leads to the next new trend for others not personally invited to be in attendance.
Social Media Streaming
For those who know a lot of people but can’t afford to invite everyone and still wish to have those people be a part of their wedding day, social media streaming is the solution to this dilemma.
With guest who are long distance, and some people being more and more uncomfortable with traveling and mixing in large crowds in today’s times, couples are now streaming their wedding on platforms like YouTube to have those people still be a part of their wedding day virtually. With the world becoming more and more digital everyday… Why not?!
I think it’s a wonderful option to have for guests who can’t travel or the couples trying to watch their budget.
So all in all my point is… long gone are the days of tradition and old rules.
The only rules that matters are the rules that you and your bride and groom to be make!
